Civil Litigation
and Administrative Law
In 2023 and beyond, Alexis will not be able to meet with people and small businesses regarding litigation or administrative law matters, except initial consultations to provide an appropriate referral. However, Alexis will always be able and willing to provide a referral to an attorney or law firm that fits each person’s or business’s individual needs. For help with any of the below issues, please request a referral.
Litigation, or court practice, is intimidating. Whether you have been served with a lawsuit and don’t know what to do next, or if you have tried resolving a conflict but there are no tangible results, Alexis may be able to help you. Alex is licensed to practice law in all California state courts and the Northern District of California and Eastern District of California federal courts.
Administrative Law is similar to litigation, but instead of being located in courts, cases are heard by various types of administrative agencies, such as unemployment appeals boards, disability appeals boards, the California Fair Employment and Housing Council, Rent Boards, and adjudicatory bodies of other similar federal, state, and local agencies.
