The holiday season (including Halloween!) is a wonderful time to work on your estate plan! Giving the gift of eliminating future stress and financial security to your loved ones is one of the best things you can give them.
Kevin and I run a truly local, family-run law practice. We’ve been married since 2016, and work out of a small office at 18th and Castro Streets. We even plan to put up flyers around the Castro! You will always work directly with the two of us, and no one else (although Pumpkin, our dog, is available for emotional support). We would love to work with you to achieve your goals.

About Alexis
Alexis (they/them, on the right) is a Jewish, queer, non-binary, Bay Area native, who has made San Francisco’s Castro District their home since 2013. They live with their husband, Kevin Cureton, and legal assistant/dog, Pumpkin.

Alexis is no longer practicing litigation of any kind; any legal representation involving filing of or representation in a lawsuit or court proceeding will be referred elsewhere. When Alexis is unable to help with your particular legal problem, including landlord-tenant issues, civil litigation, restraining orders, and several other areas, it may be possible to refer you to another professional.
Safety and Accessibility
For new client intakes, Alexis gives you the option to meet via Zoom or in person in their Castro District office. Alexis and Kevin are both fully vaccinated (including boosters, most recently in Sept. 2025) against COVID-19.
Please note that Alexis’s office is on the second floor of a building with only stairs. If an in-person meeting is desired and the office is not physically accessible to you for any reason, Alexis will come to your home or another convenient location at no cost.
