June 2025 Update
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
2SLGBTQIA+ Pride Month is here! It feels more important this year than ever, with rights for the trans community constantly under attack and basic civil liberties being stripped away. It is often stated that the first Pride was a riot, and that fact is important to remember this year.
I want to offer a way to meaningfully protect yourselves and your family: I’m offering a 10% discount on estate plan packages between June 1 and July 15, 2025 to people or couples who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+, and parents of children who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. Creating your estate plan is a key way to ensure that, after you die, your family (including chosen family) is legally protected, your children are treated with respect, and your wishes are followed. You can make a zero-cost, no-obligation appointment by pressing “Book Now” in the top-right corner of this page.
If you are able, consider donating to one of the two nonprofit organizations I’m on the board of directors for, both focused on trans rights. The first is Identity Affirmation Workshop, which I run mostly by myself, which provides free legal and form-filling services to people legally changing their name and/or gender. The second is called Trans-Continental Freedom, which focuses on relocating vulnerable LGBTQ, and especially trans, people, out of unsafe areas and living situations, to safer areas and situations within the United States. As the Treasurer of both organizations, I can confidently state that 100% of your donations go directly to helping the trans community.
In Solidarity, Alexis
